AudioNetworks Switzerland
AudioNetworks is a new Start-Up company with bases both in Switzerland and in California.
Formed by a group of businessmen, with engineers having a solid mathematical background and a long experience in high-performance professional Audio, AudioNetworks has developed a new technology called "DASE" capable of significantly enhance the quality of digital Audio signal processing.
The new technology applies in all domains where digital Audio signal compression or heavy signal processing is usually destroying the Audio quality.
As a first domain of application, AudioNetworks has developed a family of Dolby Digital decoders which receive the DASE technology as a plug-in software.
The new AudioNetworks Dolby Digital decoders are already available in different versions :
- As a real-time standalone PC application, usable in any PC for DVD or HDTV multi-channel decoding,
- As a real-time DirectX plug-in compatible with existing Audio PC editing applications,
- As a Pro-Tools TDM plug-in.
AudioNetworks is also working on the corresponding Dolby Digital Encoders in order to provide large professional studios as well as home studios with the necessary tools to enter the new world of DVD edition and multi-channel applications.
